Position Details
The Milgard School of Business at the University of Washington Tacoma invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor of Management in its AACSB-accredited program. This full-time position has a 9-month service period and begins September 2016 (Autumn Quarter). A successful candidate will demonstrate evidence of teaching and research competence in strategy. Those with a secondary interest in entrepreneurship, social issues or sustainability are highly encouraged to apply. We seek candidates that will contribute as engaged researchers and colleagues to serve our growing school and campus. Strong candidates will demonstrate outstanding research capabilities, have an active research program, be committed to effective teaching, have an interest and ability to teach and research across disciplines and possess a desire to help make our university and our local community a better place. Applicants must have a doctoral degree (or foreign equivalent) in a relevant field granted or expected to be completed by Summer 2016. Experienced Assistant Professors are encouraged to apply.
