Assistant Professor in Marketing
The Marketing Department’s research is particularly dedicated but not limited to areas such as Consumer Culture Theory, Strategic Marketing, Service Marketing and Retailing. Teaching assignments encompass undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. programs, and most of the courses are taught in English. The Department also runs excellent seminar series.

Throughout their careers, those in the academic tenure track system are expected to carry out and supervise scientific research, to provide high quality academic education, to follow the advances of their field, to participate in service to the Aalto University community, and to take part in societal discussions and international collaboration in their field.
The applicants should hold a doctorate (or be close to completing the degree). The applicants will be reviewed on the basis of their research, teaching and activity in the scientific community. In the absence of formal proof of quality in research and teaching (e.g. published papers, teaching ratings), applicants are encouraged to submit proof of significant potential for high-quality teaching and research.
Aalto University follows the salary system of Finnish universities, but applicants may also provide salary requests.
